BMS has over 50 physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners on staff, representing a diverse group but with one common goal - improving the health of their patients. Most BMS physicians are certified in their specialty, and many have advanced degrees or training. All are dedicated to the cuase of community health.

Every patient at Baltimore Medical System chooses his or her own primary care provider (PCP). A PCP can be a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, but is always a highly skilled and well-trained health care professional.

Having your own PCP means you'll always see that same provider for your health care when you come to BMS, with the possible exception of urgent or emergency situations. This gives you the opportunity, over time, to develop a trusting and comfortable relationship with your BMS primary care provider.
