Welcome to BMS! 

 

Our patients are our first concern. BMS is committed to providing health care to all residents of the greater Baltimore area, especially those who face special barriers related to language, culture, education, or insurance status.

 

I am pleased to share with you the three aims that guide all we do at Baltimore Medical System - to be the provider of choice, the employer of choice and the partner of choice for communities with unmet needs in the greater Baltimore area.

 

To be the provider of choice, we have assembled a range of services that makes it easier to get care and easier to follow through on a medical provider's recommendations:

 

• Same day appointments
• Discounted services for patients who qualify
• Assistance with appointments with specialty doctors
• Assistance applying for insurance or benefits
• Discounted prescriptions for patients who qualify
• Medical interpreters for people who speak foreign languages
• American Sign Language interpreters for people with hearing loss
• Health education programs
• Onsite laboratory and pharmacies

 

We strive to be the employer of choice by hiring highly qualified and dedicated staff who understand the communities we serve. And finally, we work with numerous community partners to extend our reach beyond the walls of our health centers and school-based sites.
